DESCRIPTION

This spread was created as part of a Visual Representation of Biomolecular Structure and Function course in the Biomedical Communications program.

The aim of this assignment was to reconstruct the bacterial flagellum and illustrate how it assembles and produces a propulsive rotary movement. Protein models were obtained from the RCSB Protein Data Bank (PDB) and then cleaned and isolated in Chimera for export. Individual protein components were then assembled in Cinema 4D and rendered.
